Kathryn Fulp is a photographer and cinematographer living in North Carolina. After graduating with a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she took a left-turn towards photography and filmmaking. Kathryn got her start working a documentary photographer in underground recording studios in Greensboro, before moving on to work with clients such as TedX, Underbelly, the City of High Point, and others. Her photography work is centered around an editorial practice, making images that examine myth-making and traditional portraiture. Her filmmaking practice centers on documentaries which examine gender, religion, and life in the south. She is currently finishing her MFA in Filmmaking degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
